Today more than ever is probably the worst it has ever been for the American people. With the economy going down the toliet , the constant theme of soicalism being displayed on the news and corrupted government officials the USA is facing a difficult time. BUt with the world being so interconnected now, the availablity of jobs are also difficult to keep.
The workplace is no longer local it is now an international contest to be hired for a job. Because of outsourcing many jobs such as giving tech support for a frozen computer is now being sent to pe
ople in India. I find it extremely difficult sometimes to speal with these operators because of their accent. I mean its great that they are working and trying to help me out but its not easy. Eventually we are transferred to another worker or we just give up with frustation and seek expensive help from our American stores.

Its not fair that when we go to apply for a job, that if the ability to speak spanish makes the difference between nailing the job or waiting for another call back. I too understand the need for the second language but at the same time shouldn't those who come to live in our country be able to communicate in English too? It seems that Americans are the ones who have to jump through hoops to acquire their desired occupation, when someboy else who might be illegal is being given the spot freely.
In all by thaving jobs that sent out of the country Americans have a harder time with gaining the jobs they want. I don't think it is very hard for someone to answer a phone and help explain a process to a person in need.
